Anyone charged with a violation of No Proof of Insurance may submit by fax, mail or in person, proof of insurance coverage prior to their court date. The proof must be submitted on letterhead stationary from the insurance company that provides the coverage.
The letter must specifically state there has been no lapse in coverage and that coverage was in effect on the date the citation was issued. A sample letter is provided in the forms section for the Municipal Court.
PROOF OF INSURANCE MUST BE PROVIDED BEFORE COURT DATE OR BROUGHT WITH YOU TO COURT.
