Requirements for Anyone Interested in Filing For Office in the Nov. 2, 2021 Fort Mill Municipal General Election (Council Seats 1, 3, At Large):
- Any citizen desiring to file for office must be a qualified elector (registered voter) and a resident of the Ward and Town 60 days prior to the Election.
- Anyone interested in filing for office must do so in person at the Board of Voter Registration and Elections Office located in the Government Center, Level 1, and Room 1201 on 6 S. Congress St, York, SC 29745.
- Candidates are required to complete and submit a Statement of Intention of Candidacy in order to complete the filing process.
-Filing Fee: $100.00

Statement of Economic Interest and Campaign Disclosure Forms must be submitted online with the SC State Ethics Commission: http://ethics.sc.gov

Candidate Filings Open Wednesday, August 4 @ 8:00 a.m.
Candidate Filings Closes Friday, September 3 @ 5:00 p.m.
