The Town of Fort Mill is pleased to announce that construction has begun on its new Amphitheater project at Walter Y. Elisha Park, along with plans for new restroom facilities and an upgrade in parking.

The new 2,400-square-foot amphitheater will be located in the southern end of Walter Y. Elisha Park and will feature a covered stage. With this new venue, the Town of Fort Mill is looking forward to offering a variety of activities for the community, from concerts and plays to movies and symphonies.

As part of the construction project, crews will also improve and increase parking at the site and create two new restroom facilities- one next to the amphitheater and another at Calhoun Street Park.

Due to this construction, the lower parking lot off Ardrey Street at the park will be closed beginning Wed., July 1 until further notice. Please use the parking lot at Calhoun Street Park (203 Calhoun Street) or the small gravel lot off Looms Way to access Walter Elisha Park. Lots will be marked with signage.

Continue to follow our Town website and social media accounts for periodic updates on the construction project. For more information, please contact Public Relations Manager Chris Sardelli at (803) 992-0021 or by email at csardelli@fortmillsc.gov.
