[ARCHIVED] 77th Annual Fort Mill Christmas Parade Road Closure Information

The Town of Fort Mill is excited for the 77th Annual Christmas Parade! Here are some important road closure items to note:

-The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Tom Hall and Unity Street, traveling through Main Street and North White Street in Historic Downtown Fort Mill and exiting at Walter Elisha Park. 

The following roads will be closed: Tom Hall Street (Steele St. to Springs St.), Main Street (Tom Hall St. to White St.), N. White Street (Main St. to Old Nation Rd), Greer Street, Forrest Street, Monroe White Street (Tom Hall St. to Confederate St.), Massey Street (N. White to Spratt), Confederate Street (Main St. to Monroe White St.), Springs Street (Tom Hall St. to E. Elliott St.), Clebourne St. (N. White St. to Spratt St.). 

Heavy traffic is expected during parade staging beginning at 9 a.m. and road closures will begin at 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. or whenever the parade ends. Drivers should find alternate routes away from downtown Fort Mill during this time. 

-The Town will be closing Main Street following the parade from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. so the community can visit local merchants and restaurants as they host the Miracle on Main Street event, and so they can enjoy the holiday decorations downtown.
