Winter Basketball Season 1 Registration

Hello Fort Mill Parks & Recreation Families!
Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday October the 9th at 8:00 a.m. registration for Winter Basketball Season 1 will open. NOTE: You can only register for one season. If you register for Season 1 you will not be eligible to register for Season 2.
Season 1 leagues will be capped at 40 participants. For the 7-8 Boys & Girls league, the number of participants will be capped at 60. The 11-12 Girls league will only be offered in Season 2 due to participation numbers. For these reasons we encourage you to register as soon after registration opens as it will fill up fast. 
Teams will practice 2-3 times a week before games start. Practices will be held at the YMCA at the Complex or the Fort Mill Community Center (Banks Street Gymnasium). Practice days are selected by our volunteer coaches and usually last an hour. All 7 days of the week will be available for coaches to schedule practices. 
Once games (9 total) begin, teams will play twice a week; one game Monday - Thursday and one game Friday - Saturday. Make up games may played on Sunday afternoons as well. Once games begin, teams will only be able to practice weekdays 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. or Sunday afternoons. 
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:
Mask will be REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES for spectators and coaches in the gym. Staff/Staff Monitors and hand sanitizing station will be loctaed at front doors at both the Fort Mill Community Center and the YMCA @ the Complex. Basketballs will be sanitaized after every game or practice.
