The Town of Fort Mill operates a Water Reclamation Facility that serves a majority of Town citizens. Located off of Spratt Street, the facility is currently designed to treat 4.5 million gallons of wastewater per day. The waste removal process utilizes state of the art, ultra filtration, hollow fiber membrane technology. The facility has enhanced odor control, automation, 24/7 monitoring, and a high priority advanced alarm system. Partial construction preparation is in place for an easy transition to a 6.0 million gallons per day upgrade when needed.
