The Town of Fort Mill Stormwater Department and Clemson Extension are pleased to offer Clemson’s Stream Bank Repair program to local homeowners, land managers, park staff, and landscape professionals to help address erosion and instability along small streams. This workshop will highlight practices to help stabilize and revegetate streambanks. Participants will go home with new skills and resources to address stream erosion issues.  The workshop is free to registered participants and will include a boxed lunch.

Participants will learn about:

  • Establishing a 3:1 bank slope
  • Installing erosion control mats
  • Installing native vegetation using livestakes

This workshop includes hands-on activities along a small stream. Participants should dress for the weather and wear waterproof boots if possible.
