The Administration Department includes the offices of the Town Manager, Assistant Town Managers, and the Town Clerk.
The Fort Mill Town Council sets policy and hires a full-time professional Town Manager as the Chief Executive Officer that oversees day-to-day operations of the Town and its staff.
The Town Manager drafts and submits the annual budget to Council each year for approval. The Manager also provides budget and financial oversight for the Town’s General Fund, Enterprise Fund and annual Capital Fund. The Town Manager also serves on numerous boards and commissions of the town.
Chris Pettit is the Interim Town Manager and is responsible for the management and oversight of all Town Departments which includes over 200 full-time and part-time employees.
